Situated at 260 metres above sea level, the Picollo Ernesto estate has been pressing its wine from the coveted Cortese grape variety since 1945. Such a refreshing and lively flavour of the Gavi di Gavi Rovereto is down to the natural minerals in the Gavi terroir; the soil that lines the vineyard. Crisp with white peach and citrus flavours, this wine has a fresh acidity that comes from the grapes, especially selected for maximum ripeness and flavour.
Vintage after vintage, the wines are vibrant, with crystal-clear purity of fruit and an intense mineral structure.
