Despite being in his thirties, Kéké unquestionably stands out as one of the most promising talents in the rejuvenated Beaujolais region. Crafted from Gamay grapes, this wine offers a delightful and easy-drinking experience, characterized by a pronounced fruity profile and refreshing notes with subtle spice nuances.

The winemaking process involves the use of native yeasts and minimal sulphur. Whole cluster, semi-carbonic maceration occurs for 10-12 days, followed by pressing, fermentation, and aging in concrete. The wine undergoes unfined light filtration at bottling.

Kewin Descombes, affectionately known as KéKé among his peers, is the son of the esteemed Georges Descombes, a prominent figure in the revered “Gang of Four”

Alongside Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet, and Jean Foillard, and sharing familial (half brother) ties with the remarkably gifted Damien Coquelet, KéKé’s trajectory in winemaking was seemingly predestined. His vinous creations seamlessly embody the poised charm, acidity, and elegance expected from such an illustrious heritage, boasting a sophistication, structural finesse, and self-assuredness that defy his youthful age.
