Crafted by the sexiest man in wine. Greg Brewer.

Brewer-Clifton Wines, rooted in Greg Brewer's vision to create world-class wines from California's Sta. Rita Hills, celebrates the Burgundian essence of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay while forging a distinct Californian style. Founded in 1995 by Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton, the winery quickly garnered attention, and after changes in ownership, it found renewed vigour under Jackson Family Wines in 2017. Brewer's passion and creativity blossomed, securing a legacy backed by a major company.

Focused on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Sta. Rita Hills, Brewer-Clifton's portfolio boasts whole-cluster fermented reds aged in neutral oak. From appellation blends to single-vineyard expressions, their wines showcase the region's power and richness. The Pinots offer pure red-fruit expressions with forest herb nuances, while the Chards uniquely blend citrus energy with dairy and nutty notes.

This exceptional winery embodies the harmonious marriage of tradition and innovation in a 20-million-year-old microclimate - crafting premium terroir driven wines in an exceptional wine growing region, unlike any other in the world.

"The Sta. Rita Hills is my identity. It’s not where I work. It’s ultimately who I am." Greg Brewer, Wine Enthusiast Winemaker of the Year 2020.

This chardonnay from 3D, Machado, and Hapgood vineyards with ideal climates for Chardonnay is managed with sustainable and organic practices. 3D vineyard, with five clones on sandy 10 acres, forms the backbone. Machado has 15 acres of sandy clay loam, and Hapgood's elevated clay loam yields denser palate expression. Harmonising flavours, the wine delights with lemon and orange blossom aromas, notes of jasmine, lime and a hint of sea salt.
