They started in 1978 and all their wines are 100% estate grown, made and bottled. Their wines reflect the unique qualities of our place in Stevens Valley with its easy slopes, warm summers and cooling maritime breezes.
To this day Voyager Estate stays true to its roots and is a small, family-owned and independently-run business ,now lead by Michael Wright’s daughter Alexandra Burt who continues to make wines of place using minimal intervention methods to let the grapes speak for themselves.
A complex chardonnay with amazing texture. Flavours of tangerine peel, pear, wild floral, pencil shavings and ginger. This wine is ridiculous value quite frankly, that stacks up against many examples on the market sitting at $100 + Expect all kinds of just-ripe orchard fruits and superbly pitched pithy freshness. But above all, expect to be amazed by what's in the glass for the price.
