A breath of fresh air when it comes to sweet wines. Made from the grape muscat de Frontignan which is one of the worlds oldest existing wine-grape varieties. This wine has flavours of pineapple, kumquat, apricots, a touch of honey and subtle floral notes. The palate is lush with the perfect balance between sweetness and fresh acidity. Not over cloying or sticky, this was really enjoyed at July's wine club with a lot of guests commenting how light and fresh and breezy it was. A pairing for soft cheeses, crème brûlée, Apricot soufflé's and vanilla bean ice cream. In fact my favourite is to just pour the wine over my ice cream and enjoy! X
