This vermouth was inspired by the family’s desire to make a vermouth enhanced with the Mediterranean citrus aromas that are so intrinsic to the area around their winery. They blend an infusion of aromatic herbs with the peel of several different citrus fruits. After several months of maceration, they add an aged white mistela (sweet wine) that they keep especially for this vermouth.
Light gold color. Interesting, fruity aromas of marigold, spearmint, honeycomb, peach tea, apple-cinnamon potpourri, and glue with a satiny, vibrant, sweet light-to-medium body and a tingling, breezy sour peach gummies, banana chip, fennel, and pineapple cordial finish. A distinctively fruity and somewhat tropical vermouth that will serve as a secret weapon in stirred rum cocktails.
