One of my customers said: "I can't stop smelling this wine once I've opened a bottle and I can't stop bringing bottles home, either....!"
It might not carry the brand recognition and is pricier than your Moet or Mumm but there is no comparison.
Marguet is a rarity- Benoit (how French ?!?) is one of a handful of natural wine producers in Champagne. As a family, they have many years of sulphite-free winemaking under their belt and farm a tiny 8Ha of vines in Ambonnay and Bouzy, growing Pinot Noir (58%) and Chardonnay (42%). Soils are ploughed by horse's, vines farmed using Biodynamics and aromatherapy, and wine made with indigenous yeasts (Yeasts found naturally on the grapes.)
There are more than 300 wine producing villages in Champagne, France and only 17 are categorised as “grand cru” - basically this means the Crème de la crème of Champagne.
The Shaman Rosé has hints of the boudoir- oxidative, savoury, full and concentrated. Champagne like you've never tasted before with flavours of strawberry, orange zest, shortbread biscuits, baked red fruit, raspberry - a grapefruit-y acidity that leads the way to a finish of a chalky, nutty, caramel mouth feel that leaves you wanting more?
